Begin Again

30 December 2014

It is difficult to write about this film.  There were moments when I hated it because it descended into cheesiness of a soap opera. But there were moments when I loved the film because at the core it is fueled by a love of music and the beauty music brings to our lives.

Can you imagine living without music? Think of the powerful memories a piece of music from a different time of our lives can stir up. There are many clever moments in the film: For example, having a real rock star (Adam Levine of Maroon 5) play a fictitious rock star and only show at the final scene how good he really is. If you love music you will not regret watching it when you need simple entertainment.
